Main Engine Cut Off
a critical event during a rocket launch where the main engines of the rocket are shut down to mark the end of the powered launch phase. Typically occurs when a certain altitude or velocity is reached, at which point the engines are no longer needed to propel the rocket further into space.

After performing as duos & trios for more than a decade, MECO officially solidified its lineup as a four-piece in 2023.
Guitarist Chris Alvarado’s songwriting and the band’s unconventional song interpretations demonstrate a common commitment to creativity. They openly push one another to take musical risks and explore new ideas. Relying on instincts and feel instead of polished execution, they are able to connect with audiences through the unique experience that is live music.
The band performs every Tuesday at 30A's favorite live music venue, Stinky's Bait Shack. Local support of the group has been awesome. The band is taking full advantage of the opportunity to stretch out tunes and get creative.
